Freedom vs Fear...

Monday, August 20, 2001--CEO John Brown reported today that the Paradox Design Center has reached the Implementation Phase of the project.

"The design of the application has been finalized and we are working rapidly to implement a web based solution." Brown said today. "We have broken new ground with our concepts of how to manage game related data. Our experiences in the design phase definately gave us some new ideas."

The new ideas are part of Brown's larger vision for Faight Industries. Among the ideas that he has talked about are an Online Player/GM game management tool and an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).

"I don't want to go too far into it at this stage," says Brown. "Let me just say that Paradox Online will be unlike any MMORPG that I have heard of. Some of its features will include dynamic quests, true Artificial Intelligence, a dynamic economy, and the ability for characters to build their own Scenes [Fortresses, Encampments, Cities]."

Interesting... I for one cannot wait to see it. Brown is enthusiastic about it. But then he is enthusiastic about anything related to the Paradox RPG and Faight Industries.
